Ordered in 2002 and implemented in 2006 the system worked until May 2007 when the new Minister of Justice Miglena Tacheva stopped functioning of the core of the system which under the law Ministry of Justice must support. All six organizations involved in the crime counteraction need to load standardized data in the core under the law but also they can use the information from any other administration to increase the effectiveness of crime counteraction. The reason system do not work is simple - there is no specialists to support the core after the last system administrator has leaved last year. The IT FORUM newspaper is asking in its last article: "Is it possible the crime counteraction to depend on one system administrator?"
