More than 11 000 Computers for Bulgarian State Administration in 2008

A Report for State Administration Status in 2008 will be reviewed by Council of Ministers. 598 state organizations provided information through internet based information system. The IT part of the report stated that the Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform has purchased and provided 7685 high class systems and 4000 laptops. The 7685 e-signatures were implemented in the entire administration. The report also includes the achievements in e-government project.

VMware Bulgaria with New Office Saga Technology
VMware Bulgaria will occupy a new office at the end of the year. The building is in place with good communications and near the metro stop. SM Consulta Presented Project Management with Infor ERP LN itForum
In the frame of the annual Infor conference Inforum 2009 Bulgarian company SM Consulta presented best practices in project management with the Infor ERP LN instruments. Vesselin Mitrev presented examples of system functionalities in already implemented projects in Bulgaria. EPIQ Electronic Assembly presented its project of implementing Infor ERP BaaN in the entire manufacturing and logistic network of the company, which comprise Bulgaria, France, Italy and many other countries. More than 80 representatives of the industry, IT and press attended the event.
Conference about the State and Prospective of Telecommunications Saga Technology
On May 12 and 13 the annual telecommunication conference, organized by Association Telecommunication ASTEL 09 will be hold. This year its motto is ?Telecommunications: crisis and possibilities?. Bulgarian Telecom Globul Grows in Q1 with 7.9% to EUR 109.1 M Saga Technology
The mobile services provider Globul reported that contract customer base rose by 15.8% to 2.1 million in the first quarter of the year. The company also reported a 7.9% rise in revenues to 109.1 million euros in the first quarter of 2009 over the same period of the previous year. The operating profit for the same period reached 17.9 million euros, marking a 2.9% rise year-upon-year. Globul estimates its market share at 38.1%, which makes it the second-biggest mobile operator in the country after Mobiltel.
